For some homes and many condo owners, maintaining a consistent outside appearance is required by the homeowners or condo association. Often times, the condo or homeowners association has identified specific window styles and colors as options for replacing your windows or doors. If the windows or doors need to be replaced in your home, we suggest you take the following steps:
- First, check with your condo association to understand the requirements for style and color options for your specific windows and doors
- Second, inquire as to whether or not the association will supply you with an approved list of contractors to insure compatibility of windows and doors with the rest of the association. Typically homeowner and condo associations do meet with several different window and door contractors specifically for this purpose. And, if they have chosen Bruin, we will work with your association to develop a custom program specifically for your association.
- Third, typically if a contractor is on a list supplied by the association, then the contractor has met with the association and has gone through the approval process for both the product and the service guarantees - giving you assurances in your contractor selection!
