Replacement Window Options

Increase the value of your home with energy-efficient replacement windows for every budget and style!

The average homeowner will only buy replacement windows once in their lifetime. As such, the process should involve careful review and consultation before a final decision is made. The two primary ingredients for a successful window purchase are, 1) the product itself, and 2) the installation team.

At Bruin Corp. we have served thousands of happy customers with our window replacement services, which include a wide variety of window types and manufacturers. Our goal is to give our customers the best manufacturing options for each window style. Here are a few of our preferred manufacturing partners:

Our manufacturing partners have a wide variety of styles and sizes. Below are the most popular options:

Double Hung

Double-hung windows are the most popular window choice in New England and are the most-used window throughout the country. A double-hung is the classic residential window, composed of a set of vertical sashes that both slide up and down. Tilt-in sashes make cleaning a breeze and save you the time and frustration of exterior washing, especially on multilevel homes.

Single Hung

Single-hung windows incorporate two sashes, one fixed and one that slides up and down. Designed to operate without protruding, single-hung windows are perfect for areas that face tall landscaping or other outdoor obstructions, providing a great solution for increasing natural light within the home and improving curb appeal.

Sliding

Sliding windows are like double-hung windows turned 90 degrees horizontally. This horizontal opening style provides the perfect solution for areas of the home where you do not have the leverage required to easily open a hung window. Sliders are ideal for homes with relatively low ceilings, but with plenty of horizontal space along the wall.

Casement & Awning

Casement & Awning windows are appealing both in new contemporary homes and in older style Prairie and Tudor homes. They glide open and shut with the turn of one easy-to-reach handle, and allow for added flexibility and security when it comes to opening up your home for airflow, no matter what the weather.

Picture

Bring breathtaking views and plenty of natural light into the heart of your home. Picture windows are appropriately named, because they are large, fixed panes with low profile frames to maximize your view. Since they’re fixed panes, they are stationary, and can’t move or open.

Bay & Bow

A bay window is a set of windows arranged together in a pattern that extends outward from the home.

Bow windows extend outward to create additional space within a room. They are intended to provide a wider view of the outside, such as a garden or a panoramic back yard.
